Young visitors to Hagley can make a splash with cool games like water
balloon ring toss and water balloon long shot!
Where:
Hagley Museum and Library, Route 141, in Wilmington, Delaware
When: Saturday, July 28, 2012, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Admission:
Included with the cost of admission -
$11 for adults, $9 for students and senior citizens, $4 for children six to
fourteen, and free for members and children five and under
Briefly: Water Balloon Olympics is part
of Olympic Fun Day, a national event inspired by First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move initiative. Let’s
Move encourages children
to live a more active and healthy lifestyle.
Hagley is a participating museum
of the Let’s Move initiative.
Activities: Children, ages 5-12, can test their
skills in four exciting contests:
